It’s cold outside, and if you need a fun game to keep any age group entertained, you should play Poly Dot Maze! This game is fun and easy to setup. The maze can keep groups entertained, and challenged for a long time! It is basically a giant memory game. Your job as the player is to crack the code and make it all the way to the other side!
I like to set out a group of five -six poly dots per row and usually seven poly dots in each row. Have all the participants sit around the playing area so they can all see. It is important for the participants to see, so they can see what is done right, and what mistakes to avoid. As the facilitator let them know that you have the codes written down for each round and once they step on a poly spot, you must say no or yes. If you say yes, the participant may advance to the next row. If you say no, they must go back and watch. It is possible for them to play again if there are enough mistakes made. If you have older groups you can have them go side to side and backwards to make this even more challenging. The goal is for the participant to make it from one side to the other without making a mistake!

This is six rows and seven spots for each row in the example above. You can use more or less! Have fun with this game, write down several codes in case your participants solve them quick, and know your age/audience. There are more fun games listed in the Resource Zone!
