This week, Budweiser released one of the best commercials that I have seen in a long time. You may have seen it, but if not, I have included this video in the post below. I am not sure if you are human if you didn’t cry or feel moved in some way after watching this. So why did it spark so much interest and emotions? In my personal opinion, the world is full of negativity, people arguing over everything, and we have lost sight in just being kind to one another. Nothing political to discuss, just simple emotions and attitudes that have hit an all time low. We may not be a star basketball player, celebrity, or political figure, but we all can be Dwyane Wade. It’s really not hard, it’s a mindset you have when you go to work or live your life each day. Anyone can make an impact. One of my favorite quotes is “One day, you’ll just be a memory for some people. Do your best to be a good one.” I think this is where the emotion came from this week. We have a choice to be kind to one another everyday, but we don’t always do this. I also think with the word IMPACT, you don’t always see or hear the results like Dwyane Wade did in the commercial. This is why this was so powerful to me. Sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference. Another great quote is “Don’t ever underestimate the power that you may have on someone else’s life.” We all can turn this negativity and poor attitude around. Start today with saying thank you or just holding the door for someone.
