I love music! It definitely makes a program or activity more fun when you make it part of your day. I recently came across Desmond Dennis and his Cool Kids Jams YouTube page. He takes nursery rhymes and other fun songs and mashes it up to a R&B sound. One of my favorites is Wheels On The Bus. He also has a sweet Baby Shark song, and I guarantee you have never heard that version! Here is the link to his YouTube page Desmond Kids Jams to see all of his songs and learn a little more. Remember your participants and staff always need something new and to break the routine. If you are starting a before school or after school program, this would be great to incorporate.
